An Afternoon at Portobello Market

I just found these pics that I had misplaced on one of my many flash-disks.  Despite having been to London a couple of times I had never been to the famous Portobello Market until my last trip 2 weeks ago when I finally managed to find time to go & it was every bit worth the hype.
The never-ending street is lined with gorgeous little boutiques, clothing, antique & silly little trinket stores and I got lucky and happened to go on a clear sky day.  My general theory on markets though is that once you've seen one you've seen them all but I have since revised that theory since seeing this one.  This is like the OG of markets & what I like most is that the stalls and stores are not repetitive.  Every single stall you encounter has different beautiful things on offer that contribute to one great sensory experience. Fun times.

This is the window of a vintage clothing store with the largest collection of original vintage Chanel accessories I have ever seen.  Unfortunately I couldn't afford ANYTHING in there but will definitely be going back there when I'm more... ummm... liquid

This is a Scotch Egg. I had never had that before & it was super yummy.
